Croup

This is a common disease among kids. It usually attacks the voice box and windpipe of an infant. The disease is mostly caused by viruses and can affect a baby for a week or less. The kid also develops a running nose, fever and other cold-like symptoms. Scarlet fever

Some time back it was considered a deadly disease, but with the advancement in medical technology, it is now treatable. It can be treated by the application of an antibiotic.
